A little history

Shibari has its origins in the Japanese tradition of Hojōjutsu, a martial art that involves tying prisoners with knots specific to their class or social status.
Subsequently, this practice was used as a form of meditation and relaxation. Suspended in the air, hampered by an interlacing of ropes and knots, the bodies at the mercy relax and abandon themselves.
Commonly referred to as shibari ("tying" in Japanese), the practice is more traditionally called "kinbaku", which refers to the act of holding someone with an intention. If today the technique is almost exclusively linked to Bondage (the letter B of the acronym BDSM), it has its origins in a completely different context.
The 2022 version of shibari is a practice (sexual or not) which accentuates the relationship of trust between two partners and explores other erotic areas.
Shibari: how to get started?
As with all sexual experiences, whether new or not, consent is essential. Then, it is essential to communicate your limits strictly before starting. With your partner, start a clear discussion about what you are looking for through this experience, what is tolerable and what is not. Communication is key for everything to go well. In addition, you can think of a word, which your partner could understand, when things go too far, there is a limit not to cross or you want to stop.

The Shibari

I discovered the beauty of Japanese bondage a few years ago and I have devoted most of my time to it for 3 years now.
Initially inspired by traditional Japanese style bondage through the art of Akira Naka's Semenawa, I attended workshops with many performers to find my way.
Today, my shibari is between sensuality and aesthetics but also between torment and constraint.
Each of my strings reveals my energy, my creativity and my personality.
As far as I'm concerned, Shibari is a "connective" journey expressed through emotional transitions, evoked by progressive constraints and torments and an exchange of power.
Each string then represents the taking and releasing of control to allow emotions to flow.
With each rope, I take my partners on a journey of self-discovery, between sensations of pleasure and torment, ultimately pushing them to expose (to me/) what they secretly crave and to reveal (to me/) their feelings and inner emotions.
In 2021, I created with my companion and string partner
